Second quarter housing costs figures published

Yesterday, Statistics Jersey its second quarter report on housing costs. Key points from this report were  -

• Average house prices in 2025 Q2 were 0.2% lower than in 2025 Q1 and 1.4% lower than a year earlier.
• Average rents in 2025 Q2 were 0.9% higher than in 2025 Q1 and 3.0% lower than a year earlier.
• The turnover of properties was 5% higher in 2025 Q2 than in 2025 Q1 and 8% higher than a year earlier.
